Brighton Academy of Excellence opened its doors on September 30th, 2016 to 200 students in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Our students were grades 1 - 4.
The second year, we grew to 250 students and grades 1-5.
Our third year is about to start in September at an all new location with upwards of 450 students and grades 1-6!
We aim to truly be a bright light in Ethiopia and to bring a solid education to kids who might not have ever received it. We long for our kids, families and staff to feel the love of Jesus when they walk through the gate each morning.
Because we serve many families in need, we provide not only a private education to out students, but 2 meals per day and clean water (to their entire family).
Because half of our students are on full scholarships and the other half are on nutrition scholarships only we have to types of sponsorships to choose from:
Not only are we looking for sponsors for all 200+ new students this fall, but also for churches and businesses to come along side us and to sponsor additional feeding and medical funds. We aim to care for as many medical needs as possible for our students and families. Also, food costs continue to rise in Ethiopia.

- $12 - includes 2 meals per day and clean water (for the entire family)
